You will need 4 things to be able to continue:
This process will allow you to take a photo using a webcam or upload one and purchase your card now
1. You need to be an apprentice
You need to be an apprentice. If you are not sure whether you can apply for a card, check terms & conditions to make sure you are eligible for the Apprentice extra card.
2. Have a webcam or recent photo ready
You will be asked to either use your webcam to take a photo or upload an existing photo to appear on your card
3. Have your payment method ready
We accept most major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment via PayPal. The NUS apprentice extra card costs £11
Mastercard, Debit Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, JCB, Solo, PayPal.
4. Have an email address you can access
This should be a current unique email address that only you access.
Photo guidelines
You will need to provide a head and shoulders
passport style photo, preferably against a light background. You can either
use a webcam now to take a photo or you can upload a jpeg. Our system allows you
to crop and scale the image.
The photo you use should be:
- A high quality jpeg
- Not too close or far away
- No larger than 640
(h) x 400 (w) pixels
- Sharp focus and clear
- No larger than 1mb in file size
- Oh, and it
must be a photo of you!
